Areas of Specialization
MEADS offers students the opportunity to develop a focused academic profile through elective courses grouped into areas of specialization. The available areas are:
- Econometrics and Data Analysis
- Industrial Organization
- Public and Environmental Economics
- Financial and Monetary Economics
The award of a degree with a specialization requires the successful completion of the courses corresponding to the selected field, as defined in the curriculum, and, where applicable, the preparation of the Master’s Thesis within the chosen area.

Econometrics and Data Analysis
This specialization is designed for students who wish to develop advanced skills in empirical economic analysis, machine learning, programming, causal inference, and applied econometrics.

Degree Completion
The degree certifies that the graduate has successfully fulfilled all academic requirements of the programme, including required coursework, elective coursework, and the Master’s Thesis. Upon successful completion, graduates are awarded the Master of Science in Economic Analysis and Data Science (MEADS).
