Study MEADS at the University of Macedonia

The University of Macedonia is a modern public university located in the centre of Thessaloniki, with a strong academic profile in economics, business, social sciences, information sciences, and applied policy. With roots going back to the Graduate School of Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki and more than 12,000 students today, the University combines academic tradition with innovation, openness, and a strong commitment to quality in teaching and research.

MEADS is hosted by the Department of Economics, part of the School of Economic and Regional Studies. The programme builds on the Department’s strengths in economic analysis, applied economics, econometrics, public policy, environmental economics, industrial organization, and financial and monetary economics, while extending them into the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational analysis utilizing the relevant competences of the Department of Applied Informatics
