MEADS is subject to approval by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education. The application for accreditation has been filed at the end of May 2026 and it is expected to be approved by the beginning of 2027. MEADS is expected to welcome its inaugural cohort in September 2027.

While the Master of Science in Policy Economics (MSPE) at the University of Illinois is accredited, the Master of Science in Economic Modelling, AI, and Data Science (EMAIDS) is subject to the approval of the relevant Illinois authorities.
